Fitness Related Injuries

Injuries happen. Whether you are an elite athlete or just a weekend warrior, sometimes injuries are unavoidable. There are some injuries that are common, but not well known. An example is costochrondritis, or costo for short.
Costo is an an inflammation of the cartilage that attaches the ribs to your sternum. Most people who get costo are first diagnosed with a heart condition, as costo does cause pain in the chest.
It can be frustrating to not know what the injury is and how to treat it. Over the next few months I plan on posting articles about various unknown yet common injuries in hopes of putting some power in your hands if you happen to experience an injury.
