The Body Clock

Wills India Fashion Week is on at Delhi this week. The week before, there were interviews with many models and show stopper celebrities. Most of them said, to get in shape, they started sleeping early and getting up early to "get their body clocks" in order.

I have read about "understanding your body clock" a lot of times. Apparently, if you are a morning person, if you stay late or have a late breakfast - you are likely to put on weight or have multiple health problems. And staying healthy is as simple as waking up at 5, getting breakfast by 7 or 7:30, lunch by 12, evening tea by 3 or 4, dinner by 6-7 and on the bed by 9 o clock. If you eat later than 7 o clock being a morning person [probably you get free from work only after 8 at night] - then you risk putting on weight.

Here is an article that talks about this : http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0846/is_4_24/ai_n6357615/

Does anyone have any experience with understanding your body clock and working towards keeping your schedule as per your natural body clock.

That sounds interesting. I am sending you a contact request. Please do invite me when you schedule an online class on this topic.

Thanks

Vikrama,
From an educational viewpoint and clinical experience, I have found that a most powerful time in the body clock cycle is between 11pm-1am. 11pm-1am is when the lifeforce energy is predominantly moving through the gallbladder meridian.

The Gallbladder is responsible for resetting the whole clock cycle for the next day's processes (among other things).

I followed the article link and related links but nothing was mentioned about this initiating process in the 'body clock cycle'...

I will be teaching some simple self-health modules here on WIZ IQ and will include a few simple things to do in order to assist resetting and 'normalizing' our natural 'clock cycle'.
